EET Song by Grade 1

Groundhog Day Predictions

Greetings,

We started our graphing unit and have been discussing how to look at data when it is displayed in a bar graph. Today we each made a prediction about whether we think Wiarton Willy will see his shadow tomorrow on Groundhog's Day. Then we graphed our predictions in a bar graph. If Wiarton Willy does see his shadow tomorrow then there will be six weeks left of winter. If he doesn't see his shadow spring is on the way. As can be seen in the graph below many students in 1F are anxiously awaiting spring.
