Money Money Money
Greetings,
During our numeracy block this week we will be practising counting with coins. Throughout the year we have become very familiar with the names and values of Canadian coins because we use coins to help us keep track of the number of days we have been at school. Now it is time to put these skills to good use.
Here is a link to a great website to practise counting coins at home. Be sure to click on the beaver so that you are working with Canadian coins.

Telling Time
Greetings,
In grade two students are required to learn time to the quarter hour. This is a great video that explains the concept. There is also a link for a fun game so students can reinforce their skills.
